I'm 65 and have been taking DHEA as my husband's urging for maybe three or four months now. I've been getting sicker and sicker so finally tonight put several of my symptoms into a search engine and find that many of them could be related to DHEA. I've been taking 100mg a day for all this time and feel like I'm dying.
I had a very severe adrenal crash a few years ago and went to the Mayo Clinic to get straightened out but the past year I've been feeling like I'm having adrenal problems again. My husband takes the DHEA and suggested it for me. I wish I would have researched it myself before taking it.
My question is, HOW DO I SAFELY GET THIS EXCESS DHEA OUT OF MY SYSTEM? I would list my diseases and unexplained symptoms but don't want to make this first post any longer than it already is. Thank you.
