Liquorice was an ingredient in some liver pills I was taking, when I had full blown Morgellons . One other time I used it was for strangles in horses. Strangles is the equivalent of distemper in dogs, a form of streptococcus . In both cases the liquorice was combined with other herbs. One horse was recommended to go to a horse hospital. All the horses I treated recovered, and I am doing well. I was told not use to much liquorice , as it is a very strong herb.
