Right now my lips don't build up as long as I have Chapstick or some other barrier on them. So they are much improved. Honestly I haven't even tested what would happen if I didn't moisturizer them so an extended period, for fear that they will crust up again and perhaps my condition would relapse. But if my Chapstick is smeared off and my lips are exposed even for a short amount of time, a very thin layer of skin will start to form over my lips.

They have been in this condition for about 2 years now without improvement. Although they are much improved I still want to fully heal them.
