I recommend to everyone who is giving this a try to use a cotton ear bud to put the ointment on the lips to avoid as much contact with hands as possible.

Also put enough that there is still visible cream on the lips. I have found if I do not do this (experiment last night) I wake up with my progress stuck from the top lip to the bottom. This may be also be due to aloe vera juice on my lips, so cannot guarantee.

I am using the nappy rash ointment one
