most will come out of their encysted state in 4 to 6 months when populations decline from rx wormers . the encysted ones have no mouth and have a limited amount of stored energy and elevated body temps cause the encysted ones to use their reserve energy and molt to next stage . when i was sick my body temp at multiple dr visits was never above 96degrees and was as low as 93 degrees after steroids. my body temp is back to 98 degrees for the last 6 months. some can last for up to 3 years in encysted state.
