The bendazoles can cause inflammation , so if the albendazole causes inflammation I would bet the fenbendazole would also .Patients with hyperinfection and disseminated disease should be treated with ivermectin. In this select group of patients, ivermectin should be administered daily until symptoms have resolved and until larvae have not been detected for at least 2 weeks.
Ivermectin and thiabendazole have shown to be superior to albendazole, and ivermectin is becoming the drug of choice in many countries due to its more favorable side effects compared with albendazole. http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/229312-overview. Maybe albendazole side effects are too much for you ,every one is different and ivermectin can be taken everyday but I did 3days on and 1day off per doctor and mom for a year except during fenbendazole doses 6months later . Thiabendazole has been discontinued in the USA . I wasnt allowed to take fenbendazole until I had my severe infections under control and if my reaction to albendazole was as bad as Bubby I would wait for a few months and just taken ivermectin .
