Thanks for the information. I will ask my doctor about IBS at my next physical. I suspected inflammation because my stomach stayed bloated. I have slow digestion of fruits and vegetables. I seem to have no problem with proteins. 20 yrs ago I developed sudden, mysterious food allergies after eating cantaloupes. I started throwing up from eating any raw fruits or vegetables. There was a recall on cantaloupes from Mexico due to e-coli outbreak. After a while the symptoms subsided.

Since getting sick last year I have poor digestion of fruits and vegetables.
