I'm sure they are scattered because DE can cut them, but they need food from your digestive system so if you stop it they will some back to how they were. Try increasing stomach acid through a lot of pure salt, not table so that you won't become reinfected then you can try increasing insoluble fiber (cabbage,celery,etc) to help with elimination. That's what I do for maintenance now but there are cleanses that can really help such as clay.I had the same issue as you a couple of years ago and found out a lot of anti parasitic herbs do that too--it's not permanent.
