I'm sorry you have went through this but I read your story and OMG totally struck a cord with me as a grown 33 year old with a family and a normal life just like you. When I was about 15 I had a similar experience I was lying in my bed under the velux window and it was a cold starry clear night and was watching the sky I used to be scared of the dark so had a torch and was flicking it on and off wide awake probably for about 4 minutes then all of a sudden all the dogs in the street started barking which for a second I thought was really weird then next thing I know it daylight torch in hand still on and I crapped myself. Sat bolt upright in bed as I hadn't even gone to sleep. My mind was racing as to what had just happened then I realised my nose was bleeding and ran down stairs crying. I felt nothing but fear and confusion. My dad said I was fine everything would be okay but it just didn't sit well with me. Then on one other occasion a little later on i was with my friends oit playing then i do t remember anything except waking up on my bed soaking wet from hrad to toe fully clothed and its the next morning. I had no memory of leaving my friends coming home going to bed nothing!! Over the years I've tried to forget about both instances for fear of telling anyone as I didn't want people to think I was a crazy teenager but I believe something happened to me that I have no understanding of. So your not alone. Maybe I was crazy but something tells me I'm not.
