Hi everyone

I am new to NB... I recently got my first HTMA results, through InterClinical Laboratories in Australia (via TEI). After doing some research on Dr Wilson's site, I am now concerned, because it looks like I have THE DEEP FOUR LOWS BOWL pattern: "A very extreme form of the bowl pattern is seen in some cases of four lows pattern. A deep bowl is defined as:
1. a bowl pattern, AND
2. a four lows pattern, AND
3. a low four lows pattern

Each of the above is a type of “stuck” pattern. As a result, the combination is a very stuck pattern."

Funny thing is, now I am feeling even more stuck about what to do next!

Reading up on the Four Lows on Dr Wilson's site raised my concerns with these warnings:
"At this time, Trace Elements, Inc., in their hair test interpretations, does not recognize the four lows pattern. Also, they do not offer the special supplement programs required for its correction that Dr. Eck discovered."

"Dr. Paul Eck, a pioneer of mineral analysis, found that people with four-lows often do not respond well to standard nutritional balancing programs, or for that matter, to most all healing programs. "

"Clinically, we always address this pattern first on a hair mineral analysis. Only when the person is out of the four lows pattern, can we address most other imbalances on the test. "

I have already committed to purchasing the supplements recommended by TEI through my practitioner. I am not sure exactly which supplements I am getting yet, as these were not specified in my copy of the report. Even though my budget is limited, my priority is good health, so am considering letting it go and not going down the TEI route anymore, and seeking help through ARL instead... but I want to be fully informed before I make any decisions. I really don't want my health to get worse by going on the wrong supplements. I'm new to all of this, so am not sure about all of the rivalry between the 2 labs, and don't know what information to trust.

Have people had success using TEI to recover from four lows, and the deep four bowls pattern? I hit severe burnout (stress and overwork) over 1 year ago, followed by Depression and have been struggling with fatigue ever since. I have a very healthy lifestyle (apart from stress) and have already been eating very well for several years (no big changes required to follow diet recommended in report). Clearly I need some form of supplementation, and it sounds like ARL and TEI have very different approaches in handling the four lows situation. I want to make sure I go down the best path to get as healthy as best as possible. My husband and I really want to start a family and it will be frustrating if we end up having to delay our family planning even longer.

I'm feeling very stuck about what to do, so any advice would be most appreciated.

Thank you kindly.
C
