I was in great emotional health when I was exposed to a rogue bacterial infection. I was run down, but I was in great physical health and working hard and wasn't aware that I was exposed. it was after the exposure that my emotional health declined. The physical caused the emotional decline, not the reverse.

I do think that once sick, and down, your emotional health can then impede regaining health.
