How alarming! Regarding your diagnosis...

Were you having any physical hyper / hypo symptoms prior to diagnosis? Is that why you had testing done?

Have you ever had your antibodies tested prior to this time?

Was your TSH high or low also or just antibodies?

Did you start the Iodine protocol for thyroid related issues or other hormonal / physical issues?

Was it Lugol's or another form Iodine that you were taking?

Have you looked into NDT (natural dessicated thyroid) instead of going the prescription route? The Stop the Thyroid Madness website has lots of info in it.

These were are questions that came to my mind when I read your post.
