I experience this at least once a week and usually more often and wonder what it means for my health.
I am feeling dry in my throat - a thorny feeling in the throat, or a feeling like there's sand there - and I drink a glass or a glass and a half of water and I feel even MORE dry in my throat. Sometimes, my eyes start feeling dryer too.
Also, the same thing happens when I eat fruit. I may not be feeling thirsty before eating fruit but after I eat it I get a dry throat and I want to eat more fruit instinctively, even though I am not hungry anymore.
I wonder if this is dehydration or a deficiency which becomes more palpable when the body gets some nutrition? I mean, perhaps the body instinctively asks for more because it is depleted?
