Yes you are making the right decision. You stated that your thyroid isn't cancerous therefore there is no reason to remove it. I have thyroid problems also along with a goiter and I have started taking thyroid complex by Botanical Choice, which seens to be helping the # is 1800-644-8327. I also take j.Crow's Lugol's solution 5% from Amazon.com. I started with 4 drops 25mg and will be adding an additional drop every week until I reach 8 drops 50mg a day. I also take extra vitamin C it's been 2 weeks and I feel so much better my thyroid is getting smaller. I had an ultrasound on my thyroid about a month ago the doctor wanted me to have a biopsy which I have put off for now and decided to take action by giving my thyroid what it needs nutritionally and it's working. I'm reading a very interesting book "The Iodine Crisis:What you don't know about iodine can wreck your life" by Lynne Farrow bought at Amazon.com. I have also started buying organic food and grass fed meat not 100% organic but working on it. You are on the right track with your program keep it up no surgery. Good Luck to you.
