If you search texts from 1670, 1710, 1880, 1915, 1938, and 1945 you will get a impression of the old cures.

In ireland they would grab a quart of herb, boil it down, put it in milk, give it to the children. Lavender cotton. I am growing my own. I bought several historic wormseed plants.
