I thought I read somewhere that coconut oil crosses the blood/brain barrier. If that's so, it must enter the bloodstream as well. Probably a good thing, but I don't know if mixing it with something toxic could be dangerous?

I also read that coconut juice was used as a blood plasma replacement during WW2, when they ran low on plasma, it was that safe!
