My hair also moves by itself strangely while it's attached to my head and I can hear and feel my hair rustle and fizz and pop. Morgellons hair is actually really common with people who have this, so at least we know we're not crazy haha. And it's definitely not air current. (Obviously air current gets the hair in the air in the first place lol but once in the air they move by themselves.) Yes, air does make hair move a tiny bit, but nothing like this. It's like it actively knows what it's doing. I've seen a long strand of hair maneuver itself in the air. The long hair strand was hovering strangely in the air and suddenly the hair stopped then slowly turned itself around in mid air then quickly darted to the left, then VERY slowly went right and then landed on what *it* wanted to land on.
Same with the dust and lint. Some people call the moving dust and lint "smart dust." It's definitely weird but when they float in the air they don't just float, they strategically and slowly move up and down and change direction. And they will come to a sudden and complete stop but still hover for a while and then dart off again until it lands on something. It can change the speed of how fast it moves.
My mom's hair isn't infected (if it is, it's nothing like mine) so I held up a strand of my hair and a strand of hers and her strand didn't jerk around in weird ways by itself like mine did. My hair strand also reached out to try and "get" my mom's strand. My family sees all of this too and they say it's weird but they don't believe in morgellons, which sucks, but what can ya do, hey?
Also, not sure if you have the same problem, but ever since I got this disease I've been noticing electrical problems and it effects how certain things work. I constantly clean out the electrical outlets but there's always the weird "morg" dust and cobwebs in there no matter how much I clean it. Whenever I clean the dust and stuff from my house I immediately get itchy and pin prick feeling. I've never had a dust allergy before, so it's not just allergies. There are SO many different components to this disease, it's ridiculous.
Sorry for the long post, it's just nice to vent to people that actually believe you. I have tons of other symptoms and problems, but my hair seems to be deeply infected. The internal damage being done to us is a whole other ball game :(
