I have been battling a strongyloidiasis infection and the albendazole and ivermectin caused severe headaches crawling sensations , inflammation , drainage behind ears(lymph nodes ), dandruff like dry skin with salt like grains etc etc etc . This happened when I first started treatment and the term is called Herxing , which basically means the meds will have moderate to severe side effects from the worms dying and the toxins they release. If your Herxing symptoms become too severe ,skipping doses or decreasing doses is what helped me in the beginning of treatment. My wife was given the same meds as me as a precaution of being infected . She experienced zero side effects(Herxing) from ivermectin and albendazole and has taken several doses of each for several months. Hope this helps ,wish you well and happy hunting
