Since I don't care if anyone thinks I am nuts..

The Vampire Diaries had a Vampire Prison which kept the Vampires strength subdued with Vervaine Steam. This is especially effective with fresh Real Vervaine.
Anyone should give this a shot just slowly simmer some Vervaine in water with a candle, warmer or low on the stove..
