Back when the 'Vampire Diaries' first ran on TV the adds where all over the place..

The first episode I watched was the one where the Vampire Damon switched out Real Vervaine with Blue Vervaine so he could compel all in town..

..after a few days of research it turns out that all info has been altered. Books begin talking about Real Vervaine then end up with Blue Vervaine. Ordering the Herb was a nightmare, the shop keeper was compelled to think BV was RV.. took me a while to reset her compulsion. Wonder if the compulsion was in the book's text itself because as she began re-reading that she once again flipped..
