Tincture in capsules? The visual is not unlike putting toothpaste back into tube :)

As far as ingesting Vervain tincture, unless you have an aversion to alcohol even in minute quantity, just put two droppers in your mouth, swish under tongue a while, swallow and chase with a little water, repeat throughout day accordingly. If the taste is overtly bitter ..... tough noogies, grin and bear it. Probably would not hurt to do whatever you do to make sure liver and kidneys are helping you .... flushes, CE, plenty of fluids, etc

Alternately, make a cup of hot V tea with appropriate amount of the dried herb and when done steeping and strained, drink the cup but also add the spent herb along with some unused herb into your poultice mixture. Slippery Elm makes an ideal base for a drawing poultice to be left on a day or two, can be found in a 16 oz jar fairly cheap at any HFS worthy of the name. If you still have oozing/drainage/puss coming out, you are not past the stage for poultice being helpful. The thing with poultice used for serious wounds is being willing to apply it, wrap and leave it on undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours at a clip. The tendency is to be curious and constantly peeking poking to look at the wound. If you apply a large enough quantity and wrap appropriately it will remain moist and drawing for a few days no problem. Whether or not it dries some, if you can leave it on 24 to 48, plan on using a warm soak, perhaps in tub, when it comes time to remove any of the clinging bits of poultice gunk. This cuts down on disturbing wound. Instead of soak, you could make a spray/ squirt bottle with warm tea to help rinse away gunk.

Also, I would treat it somewhat like a burn which is to say, DO NOT regularly was/scrub the wound to "make clean". Doing that washes away and otherwise disrupts the body's natural healing/lymph process. This is first among the worst mistakes mainstream methodology routinely applies to serious wounds burned and not. Yes, at some point the wound will need air to dry and close but that probably needs to be after the puss, venom, infection , MRSA is gone.
