I've said this before -- chronic administration of compounds ("compounded medications") assuredly causes tolerance in the pathogen. (ipso facto, Since no one has been cured).

So by repeatedly taking a medicine that does not obliterate this thing completely, a patient is making the pathogen stronger. (Maybe the symptoms are eased for a while, but they return: the illness is not "cured").

The issue: It has been established that pathogens can become resistant to drugs. (witness MERSA). MERSA is a drug-resistant streptococcus strain that we humans have CREATED by our OVERuse and ABuse of Antibiotics .

The lesson: repeated administration of any substance that does not completely kill a pathogen results in a resistant pathogen. The small number of pathogenic organisms that survive the drug treatment will reproduce, and their offspring will ALSO be able to survive when confronted with that same drug. So they will make MORE resistant versions of themselves.

I'm really done with all the quibbling, insults and other diversion tactics. To properly go forward with a truly scientific approach to this thing, it is ESSENTIAL that this fact be accepted.

Due to lack of civil dialogue along these lines, I'm pretty sure that the people who argue here are not trying to help anyone, instead selling zappers, Iodine and advertising for quack, band-aid treatments.

I invite rational discourse on this topic, but I ask responders to PLEASE address the central issue - I'm starting to think this is just trolling to waste my precious time while seriously misleading the public.
