My brother has melanoma.
I will ask him but for now i will write what i already know.
He started feeing it after around 2 months. But he wasn't sure if it was really that.
He started to really like it after 3 months. He said it made him stronger. It gave him new hope that he didn't think he even had in him. I think what it really gave him is the strenght, both physical and emotional, to fight. And that is really what i was going for too.
