Do you have any idea about what you are trying to self medicate with alcohol--anxiety, etc?

If the doctor has nothing for you, you might look to a different medical philosophy such as functional medicine.

I bet there is much for you to learn about liver function, supplements that could be useful, probably major dietary changes that need to be made.
