Oh by all that's sweet and holy, I'm not alone! So many doctors and even my own spouse think I'm crazy and obsessed! But how can an obsession make holes in your skin that are perfectly round? I actually have two parasites, this hair one, which strangely enough preys on the other one, which is kind of like a hookworm but it doesn't like blood so can't be a standard hookworm, and it also grows enormous! Well, before I die of this (I have a genetic disease called APS, and there is a good chance I will die of something like this someday) I am going to step up my game and take all your advice. I know where I got these I think, my dear long lost cousin lives in a pit of an apartment, and she called to ask if I would come to her there and be with her while workmen were in her apartment tearing out ceiling tiles and repairing a massive water leak from the bathroom of the apartment above. The maintenance before had been crap, there was even an old water bucket up above her ceiling tiles filled with yucky old water that had come down and nearly killed her. Well, ever since that day, she and I have had the parasitic symptoms you describe and more. So, having some considerable experience with scientific procedures, I took skin and nasal samples and actually grew them outside my body to take a good long look, and get big enough ones to send to a decent lab in a major city, or maybe the CDC itself. I just finished definitely separating all of type 1 from type 2 last night. I am going have my husband borrow the scientific camera from work tomorrow or the next day to show you guys what I came up with and I will keep you posted on how it all goes. I have felt so alone, it's hard for even my usually objective, inquiring mind to wrap itself around things inside my own body doing me harm (they attacked my hands and wrists where I have excema first and foremost and I have almost no tissue under the skin there), it's a viscerally sickening experience. I truly am assured now that even if it is not in a ready textbook a group of honestly suffering individuals banding together, even on the internet, I am not the crazy one, it is my husband and several doctors who need to be treated for a huge case of denial. By the way, I am a 47 year old North American woman with several old injuries (I notice they attack vulnerable tissue) and burns and also with a disease that diminishes the immune system, and my cousin was a premie, abused, and has MS, also a North American/French descent, in her 50's. Is there a pattern here?
