I am looking for suggestions for my partner.

She is 44 years old and seems to be having perimenopausal symptoms beginning. She has had some hot flashes over the last year and some in regularity with her menses timing.

Last month she had some pretty intense breast pain for about two weeks before she bled.

Right now she is having more intense breast pain with shooting pains that happen throughout the day and last night it was waking her up. she also was trying to describe something to me that I can't translate very well, but sounded like she felt like there was fluid building up in pockets inside her breast tissue.

Her Iodine usage has been intermittent at best.
Does anyone here have any experience first or second hand with these kind of symptoms?

Iodine and companions a good place to start? Any other considerations?
