except that my dog is merely being a hero. He coughs and I know he is still infected. The morning potty visit to the backyard and he comes back wiping his face with both paws. He still bears hundreds of marks on his ears..a passing swipe of dmso only made the lesions move closer to his brain, they're not gone. I worry about shit like that -- I am grateful to my dog as he endures, but we can't say that they are cured, merely enduring silently.
he's my secondary guinea pig and I treat him better than I treat myself. He does not receive random treatments, only what I have already tried on myself. poor dog is my best...I hope we die simultaneously because the suffering will be great. And I'm sure, from my intentional withholding of potentially dangerous substances, he will suffer more than I.
