The one I follow is 2 10-ounce bottles of coke (made with sugar, not corn syrup) an hour for 5 hours, followed by 2 cans of asparagus.

It has worked for me more than once, and I'm expecting to have the pain that feels like I've been kicked in the back be gone by evening.
