you NEVER want to break a fast with fruit as it contains Sugar which is not good, like I say it could kill you, it did kill pow's at the end of ww2.

The best easily available drink to break a fast with is dairy MILK, buy the full-fat stuff, it contains all the salts you need to replenish your electolytes.
