I am immune Deficient one of my family members has hep C now another has an std possibly herpes2. Very concerned about my immune deficient status and regular family interaction - There is no physical contact with hepc individual but have read that the virus can live on a surface for a small amount of time so I dont share utensils etc. Now another in house member has herpes 2 and the doc said the virus has seemed to be mutating in recent years moving form i to 2 and seems to be no distinction - . This person has had herpes one previously. I know it stays with you forever one you get it. so I am thinking no sharing of course but what about cheek kissing hand holding - regular stuff? I feel squished between two diseases. I do have low nk cells low switched b cells - along with being antibody deficient . I do replace my antibodies with donor ones to have normal levels. my heart is breaking for my family members too - trying to stay positive
