Yes, liver complaints can come after an enema- enemas supply a lot of liquid, etc, directly to the portal vein in the colon and right up to the liver, a part of the natural digestive feedback loop.

Have you used any or purchased any liver support herbs, products or such?

Since your enema was a saltwater treatment, I'd suggest foods and juices that will help replenish the other electrolytes like potassium, magnesium, bicarbonate, etc.

Try these foods to help your liver along: ecological steamed or soup kale, spinach, red beetroot juice, grapefruit, orange or lemon juice, kiwis, fresh apple. (These foods need to be as fresh as possible, and if you boil, sip the water so you don't lose the minerals.

An Epsom Salt or dead Sea Salt footsoak can also help supply those minerals very well.

These herbs/teas can help: chicory root, sencha, powdered milk thistle, dandelion root, hibiscus, wild blueberry... And a good many others (but those are the ones I am most familiar with). Best recommended are milk those, dandelion root, our chicory.

Any of the above foods and teas can be used. :)

If you have been having trouble producing bile and digesting foods for quite some time, it will be important to get more choline-rich foods into your diet. That's ecological free-range egg yolks, chicory root, non-GMO soy or sunflower oil, and a good many other foods. Choline helps soften stagnant bile stones and fatty acid deposits in the liver, and forms the basis for fresh bile, which helps digestion immensely.
