If Bartenella bacteria 'hide' in the microscopically tinyest places. I can grasp the concept that if the bacteria were to 'hide' in the tunnels in teeth with root canals that Antibiotics might not reach them, so they stay waiting til conditions are more favourable and begin growing again. Still the preventative treatment should be enough that they wont survive in that environment.
