I know nothing about pharmaceuticals and luckily never needed any never having had a deficiency in them.
Google says the drug is just now entering phase one of clinical trials so it could be years before it is available or not. As of now it is just vapor ware that the company has used to raise 5.5 million cash to pursue 'development'. Firms rarely get approval but the pursuit constitutes their business model, the gamblers pay the tab.
What they are claiming to be unique is its ability to penetrate biofilm. I penetrate my film with N-acetyl cysteine then my immune system performs the kill. Being an Iodine saturated man I rarely have issues or concern.
