New here and hope to get assistant with my basset hound mix dog. After 3 ultrasounds and x rays the Vet is saying that the results are suggestive of Splenic Lymphoma.

I started giving her CS, IP-6 & Inositol, flaxseed oil and cottage cheese and lugols iodine. She was very uncomfortable and in pain so I gave in and now she is on Prednisone.

I read that a low dose of Prednisone and licorice root can help (what kind? powder, liquid? what's easiest with dogs?).

I'm not sure if I can continue to give her CS and Inositol with Prednisone. I've continued to give her cottage cheese and flaxseed oil as in the buckwheat diet since she likes it.

I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle.

Can anyone provide guidance regarding what is compatible with Prednisone?
