So for the last 2 days I've been taking the ivermectin solution orally (in V8, can't hardly taste it that way) instead of SC/IV, about 3mL twice daily as well as about the same cc of the Valbenza (virtually masked in a bit of milk and sweetened creamer). It's a lot, but that's what's working. It's working. I'm also taking cimetidine (Tagamet, can find in any drugstore) which helps boost the effects of the albendazole. I am very hopeful at this point. Also still on bactrim, will need to get some more doxy. I read that you should continue the treatments even after there's no evidence ... probably a good idea as when I stopped the ivermectin for 2 days, things came back with a really awful vengeance. So much better right now.
