As far as i know the Niacin flush has nothing to do with the Iodine but only with taking the wrong kind of niacin.
U should go for a non flush option. Such as the Co factors by Optimox . They contain inositol hexanicotinate and they dont cause a nasty flush.
I personally take Lugols Solution which gets absorbed in the stomach. U take iodorxx which prolly is a coated pill (right?) thats gets absorbed in the intestines.
U dont have to go for something (if even available) that has more iodine. The healthy body changes Iodide into Iodine anyways by lactoperoxidase and thyroidperoxidase. (might have written those two incorrect....)
Iodine doesnt appear in nature. And it has an oxidative effect on the body. But the co factors shoudl level that out and i personally still take Lugols since we all dont kknnow for sure if we have enough enzymes that turn Iodide into iodine.
If u take iodorxx with food or even vitamin c the Iodine turns into iodide.
if u have enough enzymes its no problem for ur body. But if not....well
The breastpainting i m not so sure about. I personally even took 10% iodine solution and spread it on my boobs. But i saw no real effect in it. so i ve stopped. I ve read of ppl here mixing it with coconut oil. Not sure if it was only to prevent skin dryness though.
U r already taking 100 mg right? right from the start? and how much higher do u wanna up the dosage?
If 100mg cause u no big trouble and u wanna go much higher , i d just up the dosage weekly by 25 mg or so ...and see what happends.
I m trying to remember how i took Iodoral (thats what i ve started with in 2012) ...... but i dont remember.
And i can only say that i really had boob pain relief as i took 100mg of Lugols on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. I put it into veggie caps (coz the taste is nasty) and drink 500 ml water with it. Then i have my breakfast about 1 hour later. I guess in that one hour i ve absorbed enough of the needed iodine for my boobs etc.
Some ppl that ahve a lot of detox problems do pulse dosing. Taking less on some days and upping the next ones.
Or they even dont take Iodine for 1-2 days.
I personally do that since a while. Just so (had no real detox ever but just thought i d give my body some iodine rest at the weekends) . I simply dont take iodine on saturdays and sundays.
I also dont wear any bras anymore since starting iodine.
I wear genie bras now . (no wires). They r really great imo.
Some say the wires prevent lymph flow.
I just changed to that coz my boobs were so freaking hard, lumpy and sensitive that i couldnt wear a normal bra anymore without pain.
Diet wise . Well u ll find many different opinions here.
Imo vegan is the way to go. But i m one of the only ones here being vegan i think.
Cutting out all dairy is in my opinion much better than cutting out meat etc.
being simply vegetarian doesnt make much sense to me tbh.
Meat and dairy r both bad imo. But dairy even more.
That u go for the organic stuff is good ;)
lots of ppl r gonna tell u that u need meat for the iron and b 12 but i guess we both know that a plantbased diet (even if u consume dairy still) contains a lot of iron and that b12 is easily supplemented and that even meat eaters can have low b12 levels ;)
also green veggies have calcium (if thats why u eat daairy still) ... and the body can absorb it much better than animal source calcium.
OK but enough about the diet.
