I would bet $10,000 cash that your liver has thousands of hardened clumps of bile / cholesterol (stones) stored all throughout it's biliary tree.

Any scanning equipment requires the stones to be calcified to provide enough density to rebound the ultrasounds etc.

I suffered major liver congestion, although every test came back clean as a whistle. This is the most over looked complication in medical history.
