that's what my chinese med. doctor suggested too, but i think i am going to skip acupuncture all together, because it is way too expensive and im not really sure how effective it is for someone with so many problems. i always get the sense that it can help you if you have one or two issues, not problems in multiple major systems.

i am taking the herbs for my liver now. its a liquid concentrated form and its meant to "soothe the fire" in my liver and stomach.

my main concern is that i already have low thyroid levels and estrogen dominance, and some of these herbs have estrogenic properties (like siberian ginseng).

have you heard of anyone having any luck with chinese herbs?
