I am not really sure what you are trying to say, but I digress. I am assuming you believe that dose amounts of vitamins in synthetic substances equals the amounts in real foods, but this really isn't the case.
As with my experiences with vitamin D. I was taking upwards of 100,000 iu a day (with K2 of course), but never saw any therapeutic benefits from it. Now taking a couple teaspoons of FCLO a day, I am actually seeing benefits, many actually. There is only 2,000-4,000 iu Vit D per teaspoon in FLCO, but this is a real food, so there are many other factors involved I am sure.
I again feel this applies to all your other co-supplements that you take. I intake about 3oz of organ meats a day (liver, heart, kidney, glands, etc.) The numbers may not be high in terms of mg's, but its benefited me far more than pounding down white powders all day.

Personally, I grow nearly all of my own food, so I know what is in it. Even so, I still feel real food is better than synthetic vitamins...I think this is where organ meats could help fill in the gaps for people.
But if kelp works for u its great.
It does. There is more to kelp than just its iodine content, its a real food so there are things in it that we arent even aware of. "Polluted" or not, I will continue taking it. People still have the idea that liver is bad because it deals with filtering toxins (like you said of kelp), but you know how that goes.
I d have to consume 100+ g of Kelp per day to meet my 100mg iodine.
That would be easy to do, especially if you incorporate it into your diet and throw in some ground up seaweeds.
There is no way u can get enough Iodide from food to block all hallides , get enough vitamin c to balance out oxidative stress caused by iodine, get 100-500mg of b2 and b3 , get 500mg+ magnesium (in a standard diet) get enough sunshine to build enough d3, enough copper , enough selenium .....on a standard diet, .......
How do you know you can't get enough from food? Where are you getting this information? Again, organ meats and fermented foods supply a lot more than you think, even though they dont sound like really high numbers in regards to "mg" content. I know it's not as easy, but grow your own food and you can have more control over it's nutritional value...start now before Monsanto makes it a crime to do so :) If iodine (lugols?) is causing all of this oxidative stress and you have to take all these other synthetic supplements to counteract that stress, seems like I would simply not take Lugols and that eliminates your need for all the co-supplements.
Don't get me wrong, I have taken my fair share of Lugols/SSKI, but if I could do it differently, I would have.
I do hope things get better for you though, that is not up for debate. :)
