We don't need the gift of healing anymore to spread the gospel. I've never seen anyone that claims the gift of healing do anything but bring attention to themselves and away from the gospel of Christ.

But yes, the gift of teaching, preaching, wisdom, discernment, serving, encouraging, showing mercy, etc. is all needed in the body of Christ and to spread the gospel. But we don't need anything to confirm the gospel message. We don't need to show a miracle to confirm the gospel is true. But the people during the days of the disciples and apostles did not have the completed scriptures.
