In some states it is illegal for farmers to sell raw milk. However, you can still participate in a cow share program by paying for monthly room and board for the cow so that you can pick up its milk at the farm. I think you can also buy raw milk at some farmer's markets (probably depending on the state).

Prices to lease a cow at one farm are $57 per year plus $8.50 for every gallon of milk you receive from your cow.
