Granted I'll love him less in about an hour as the lidocaine wears off, but still!

I think the conversion of selenocysteine to free selenium is rate-limited by TMG/homocysteine reduction capacity in general, ****. I ordered some tablets of TMG to test.

The infected tooth came out today. My good dentist played the 'good dentist' card as he needs to in this crazy country, but was plenty happy to do the extraction, and said it's exactly what he would do himself. His 2 root canals came out long ago.
There was a small pustule of infectious material at the base of the tooth, it shattered easily, and stank plenty of chloride due to the rods inside. Have kept photos of it and my dental record/xrays since he left me alone for 10 mins. Don't think it necessary to post unless there's curiosity from your side.

Was unable to find oregano oil at the health shoppe. :p
Plan on taking it easy and going good on dark greens for the coagulation factors and minerals for the next few days.
There was swollen, bleeding gums pretty much everywhere he poked, but I think the dead tooth was one of the major contributing factors.
