Hypoglycemia is fairly common in detox groups too. The adrenal cortex hormone, cortisol, is a glucocorticoid involved to some extent in blood Sugar regulation.

A close female friend had the rather common poor mood when she had not eaten in a few hours. This happened to her even though she was careful about consuming modest amounts of fast burning carbs.

This is improved for her with adrenal support, healthy little snacks between meals. She takes glutamine with her when she will be out for a couple of hours. It works rather well for her and me too.
