I am also taking spironolactone, which is potassium sparing, so I need to watch any potassium intake in order to avoid hyperkalemia. I have actually stopped taking it at the same time as the Iodine in order to avoid too much potassium. Yesterday I reduced the drops down to 3 and dropped the two pounds by this morning, so I guess I will just increase slowly from here on out! Hoping another rise on the scale does not happen :(
