Every specialist i get referred to has a letter from my gp saying how insane i am so consequently no one takes me seriously. Ive gone from an intelligent fit man to this. Sorry for bad punctuation etc but i didnt sleep last night due to this adrenaline problem. I feel like i might pass out. CONSTANT TIRED BUT WIRED. Nothing fixes it.

Whats going on? I havent worked in months, i have severe erectile dysfunction, no libido, cold hands and feet, shrunken up genitals (lack of blood), headaches but not to severe, BRAIN FOG, heart palpatations. SEVER INSOMNIA! I CANT SLEEP, anxiety, constipation, muscle loss, puffy nipples (prolactin?), weight loss, SHEDDING HAIR LIKE MAD, no energy, muscle aches, poor memory.

All signs of chronic infection -

Erectile dysfunction is due to nitric oxide disturbance in which NO is heavily involved in immunity. Atrophy of the testicles is a sign of activation of the HPG axis in which testosterone is involved in activation of the immune response.

Brain fog is a sign of chronic infection in which cytokines which are released from immune reactions enter the brain - BF is also caused by oxidative stress from the infections and nutrient depletion.

Tired and wired is a classic sign of adrenal stress which again is caused by chronic infection. The HPA axis is very much involved in immune system reactions.

Anxiety is another fallout from immunity. These infections produce 'glutamate storms' in which glutamate builds up in the brain leaving no GABA. Build up of toxins will create lots of anxiety, the toxins build up due to strong immune reactions. With immunity superoxides (free radicals) are created which damage the body. Every person I know with this situation all have impaired detoxification. Liver congestion always occurs as well.

Most of the Hypothalamus and pituitary hormones will be dysregulated due to the immune signalling. Thyroid function is altered under these infections which is not the problem but rather the immune system creating a hormonal hell. Remember that all hormones are interlinked which means when one is strong or weak then the others are going to thrown off as well.

Palpitations are from adrenal pumping due to the infection - high adrenal activity disturbs electrolyte balances. Magnesium is rapidly used - magnesium and palpitations are closely linked. Sodium and potassium are also controlled by adrenal functioning and their ratios will become skewed. These play a role in cardio function as well as nerve signalling (read that depression, anxiety etc).

Addressing the nutrient needs to stabilize the body is paramount - addressing the pathogen then becomes the next priority. Did any other this start with gastrointestinal problems?
