Thanks for making it more clear of what you believe. I think the reason you have not been more clear in any of your other posts is because I don't see the clear references specifically about Jesus. Even though I will not get into some of the other things that were more of your own creative ways of explaining things...which is fine....but I have to address the more serious issues of salvation through Christ alone. This is the place where we are both having problems still on communicating....or it is due to the fact that you don't want to give credit to Jesus for being our "all in all" when it comes to salvation.

No one will come to realize things in the exact order as you have listed....of course you may already understand this, for we can't write every little thing we want to say or this would be a book. For many people, they heard about Jesus first and then came to understand they were in sin. Most people do not know they are wretched or even in sin until they "hear" the Good News. Most people think they are good people. After all, they pay their taxes, they are friendly to their neighbors, they have never hurt a child....so they think they are good to go.

The scriptures main purpose is to show you who Jesus really is, so you can walk in Him, by putting your faith in Him and letting the Holy Spirit lead you. How is God going to get our eyes off of idols and following man's decrees unless He Himself comes as fully man and fully God? If Jesus was not God and only man, that would make him a false idol. We are not to follow or worship a mere man.

Many people when they first hear about Jesus only hear of Him being the Son of God thinking that means we were created by God, so that makes us all sons of God and Jesus was just like us...human only. The scriptures go further to tell us that Jesus was not only fully man, but also fully God....How can anyone really know God if they don't really know who Jesus is? It would be wrong and it can not be taught that we can be like Jesus, being fully man and fully God like Him....that is not true. He is God...we do not worship each other. Having the Holy Spirit within us does not make us equal to God/Jesus.

Our flesh fights the Spirit...that is why it is so important for us to accept the promises of what Jesus did on the cross for us. It's His righteousness that covers the imperfections that we can not perfect due to being weak/flesh and not allowing the Spirit to fill us with His power to overcome. We don't just stand on the promises and ignore our walk with Christ. We put faith in where the power really lies....in Him. It's all about His Power....His Glory....His Righteousness....not our own.
