Some of you may remember my battle with face mites a few years ago. Demodex is a mite that lives on the face and causes acne. The dermatologists prefer to call it rosacea because they don't want to freak people out by telling them they have mites on their face. But I think the best way to defeat your enemy is to know it well and understand it. And for me, parasites living on my face and causing acne is an enemy. So I was relieved when I found this website:

Because I finally understood what was going on. It took me almost a year, but I got them all killed off and I hypothesized that cold cream would keep them from coming back. And it seemed to be working for years. But in the past few months my face has been itching and breaking out again. I even tried coating it with Vasoline, and that didn't work to kill them. So I ordered some more ZZ cream from Demodex Solutions and that is killing them off very nicely. So I am reporting that I was wrong about cold cream preventing rosacea.

Meanwhile, I can't say enough good stuff about ZZ cream from Demodex Solutions. Even though it will crack and peel your skin while it is working, when it gets done your skin is left vibrant and youthful and feeling wonderful. I was a little bit afraid it might make wrinkles when I first tried it because of how it dries and cracks and peels off very thin layers of the top coat of skin. But it did not. It is kind of like shedding bad skin, like a snake. And when the skin that was infected with demodex is sloughed off, you will look incredible.

So I am forgetting about cold cream and sticking with ZZ from now on.
