Did any of the the Doctors test you for malaria, yellow fever, chicamaugua,(I know I spelled that wrong) or Lyme disease? Did you tell them about your trip?

Use the net and look up all the diseases endemic to Northern Thailand and ask the infectious disease Doctor to test you for them. I'm no expert but that is what I would do next if it were me. Most times you have to solve things yourself.
