With d.e. I suspect it can also have effects if one has leaky gut. It doesn't seem like microscopic glass would be healthy with leaky gut. If there were studies done on that it would be interesting to see. Also since it goes through the gi system it can be assumed it doesn't work systemically like some drugs do meaning it wouldn't have as much effectiveness as a drug that goes systemically if there's stuff outside a person's gi tract their trying to fight off.
