Let's throw another hypothetical out there while we are at it.
Imagine if the entire crew of sailors took Colloidal Silver , 10,000iu of vitamin D, and Mega-doses of vitamin C. Which in total would end up being less expensive than the vaccine. Imagine how none of them would get the FLU.

Two negatives don't make a positive. There is no evidence that the flu was brought on board by the crew that went ashore on leave, So I am not sure where you are getting this "evidence" from. Now I can see how you are deducing that, but essentially you are making a hypocritical statement and drawing a conclusion in a way similar to the authors.

Herd immunity is a joke and so is the flu vaccine.
